Porting Unity Developer

We’re looking for a Porting Unity Developer to join the Monster Couch team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting and developing the console and mobile versions of our games. You’ll join various product teams and support them at different stages of each game’s lifecycle. We’ve been developing multi-platform games for years, and you won’t be the only person on the team with this kind of experience.

We’re looking for someone with experience in creating or porting games to consoles and/or mobile — and who’s ready to learn the other, if needed. Someone who finds working with platform SDKs and maintaining multi-platform builds an interesting challenge.

Key responsibilities:

  • Participating in planning and executing tasks related to porting a game to a new platform, as well as maintaining existing console and mobile versions.
  • Tackling tasks with many unknowns, requiring deep dives into documentation.
  • Designing solutions and write efficient, clean, and well-structured C# code.
  • Collaborating closely with the rest of the team to improve and implement new mechanics and fix bugs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in porting or developing games for consoles and/or mobile platforms.
  • Solid understanding of console and/or mobile systems.
  • Strong skills in developing and optimizing projects in Unity.
  • Good knowledge of C# and version control (Git).
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a project team.
  • Experience collaborating with UX Designers or Game Designers.
  • Communicative level of Polish (both spoken and written).
  • Good command of English.
  • Engagement and a sense of shared responsibility for the project and its outcomes.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Communicative level of Polish (both spoken and written).

Nice to have:

  • Experience working on multi-platform games.
  • Passion for board games.

What we offer:

  • Salary based on experience. Contract form: employment (UoP) or B2B.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • Multisport package subsidy.
  • Support from a friendly and well-coordinated team.
  • Professional development support, funding for training and industry events.
  • Relocation assistance.
  • Flexible working hours (our core hours are 9:20–13:00).
  • Remote work or on-site in Poznań, just a stone’s throw from the Old Market Square, at Pyramida Hub — a local creative collective bringing together studios and freelancers, mainly from game development.

If you’re applying as a Senior, please include the note “Senior Porting Unity Developer 2025” in the last field of the form, and we’ll adjust the salary range accordingly.
