Unity Developer

We’re looking for a Unity Developer to join the team developing Wingspan at Monster Couch.

In this role, you’ll be primarily responsible for supporting and expanding Wingspan. You’ll work with the team to maintain the game, develop its upcoming expansions and new features, and later on, join work on future projects. We’re looking for someone who finds it exciting to implement visual and gameplay effects for a digital board game and connect them with the user interface across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing new systems and modifying existing ones in Wingspan and its expansions.
  • Connecting UI and code — working directly in the engine (in collaboration with UX Designers) on a game supporting multiple input types (touch, gamepad, mouse).
  • Designing solutions and writing efficient, clean, and well-structured C# code.
  • Collaborating closely with the rest of the team to improve and implement new mechanics and fix bugs.

Requirements:

  • Strong skills in developing and optimizing projects in Unity.
  • Good knowledge of C# and version control (Git).
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a project team.
  • Experience collaborating with UX Designers or Game Designers.
  • Communicative level of Polish (both spoken and written).
  • Good command of English.
  • Engagement and a sense of shared responsibility for the project and its results.
  • Problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have:

  • Experience developing games supporting multiple input types (touch, gamepad, mouse).
  • Experience working on multi-platform games.
  • Passion for board games.

What we offer:

  • Salary based on experience. Contract form: employment (UoP) or B2B.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • Multisport package subsidy.
  • Support from a well-coordinated team.
  • Professional development support, funding for training and industry events.
  • Relocation assistance.
  • Flexible working hours (our core hours are 9:20–13:00).
  • Remote work or on-site in Poznań, just a stone’s throw from the Old Market Square, at Pyramida Hub — a local creative collective bringing together studios and freelancers, mainly from game development.

If you’re applying as a Senior, please include the note “Senior Unity Developer 2025” in the last field of the form, and we’ll adjust the salary range accordingly.

About us:

We’re currently expanding Wingspan and developing our newest title, Flamecraft, while also preparing our next, unannounced project. Looking ahead, we plan to grow our portfolio with more digital board games for all platforms.
